It isn’t surprising that in Marin, a place that worships the great outdoors, many people have dogs. Some of the best dog parks in the U.S.A. are in Marin County. (There is also a terrifc one right across the Richmond/San RafaeBridge at Point Isabelle in Richmond.
This section provides some resources for dogs and their owners. And in a litigious world like ours, there is even a link called dog law. Here there is information on the legal issues affecting pets and their owners.
The Marin Humane Society has pets of all kinds available for adoption. Check out their site. If you don’t have pet now, think adoption!
We have two wonderful dogs, Sophie and Tucker, who fill our lives with laugher and joy. They know when they are out there with us in Marin, that we all are lucky to live in a pet friendly place like this. There are restaurants and cafes that allow pets outside. We have eaten outside at FISH in Sausalito and our dogs were even treated to salmon treats from the owner, after taking a walk along the waterfront.
Now that is what I call, a dog’s life
